Our Products
We use the most authentic recipes, ingredients and processes to make our foods. Our products are a true taste of Lebanon. Just like the way your teta prepared it.
Our Location
We source our foods from local small farmers in our village and neighboring villages. Being right in the heart of Mount Lebanon, the air and water is clean, the people still know each other's names and village life is at it's best. While spreading our jam on your toast, you will imagine the ladies who prepared it and the conversations and laughter that went on while it was being made. You will also taste nature in every bite.
Forty women able to generate a sustainable income to secure their livelihoods thanks to the agro-processing center in Baysour, Gharb Al Aala, rehabilitated and equipped with USAID support under the Baladi Program – “برنامج “بلدي. These women, who are members of the Cooperative of Gharb al Aala and operate the center, produce and sell a variety of jams and preserves under the “Baladiyat” brand name. USAID also trained the women on best food processing practices. Today, despite the COVID-19 lockdown that is slowing down business operations, demand for the “Baladiyat” products is growing in the region. This has in turn increased the sales of the cooperative and improved the daily salaries of the women by an average of 40%.
We are grateful to the support we have received from generous donors and caring organizations that have contributed to the success of our Cooperative. This effort has created opportunities for the whole community, especially the women in our community.
